12. Subsequent Event	12. Subsequent Event In June 2016, IHC announced a “going private” transaction by way of a statutory “short-form" merger of AMIC with and into AMIC Holdings, Inc. (“Holdings”), a newly formed subsidiary into which IHC and one of its subsidiaries will contribute their shares of AMIC common stock, with Holdings continuing as the surviving corporation. Subject to review by the Securities and Exchange Commission and consummation of the transaction, Holdings will own all of the outstanding shares of common stock of AMIC. IHC is under no obligation to consummate the merger and could decide to withdraw from the transaction at any time before it becomes effective.

The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued.
