Retirement Benefit Plans Our defined benefit pension plans and postretirement medical plan are described in Note 13 of our annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2019. We have contributed less than $0.1 million and $0.1 million during the third quarter of 2020 and $0.2 million and $0.4 million during the first nine months of 2020 to our pension plans and postretirement medical plan, respectively. We contributed $0.1 million and $0.3 million during the third quarter of 2019 and $0.3 million and $0.7 million during the first nine months of 2019 to our pension plans and postretirement medical plan, respectively. Net benefit costs for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2020 and 2019 were not material.
