The classes of securities to be registered hereby are (1) Common Stock, par value $1.00 per share (“Common Stock”) and (2) Preferred Stock Purchase Rights of The Bombay Company, Inc. (the “Registrant”), both of which had been previously registered pursuant to Section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
