⁽¹⁾ Restricted cash as of December 30, 2017 represents cash and cash equivalents of Sysco’s wholly owned captive insurance subsidiary, formed in the second quarter of fiscal 2018, restricted for use to secure the insurer’s obligations for workers’ compensation, general liability and auto liability programs.
