RELATED PARTIES	RELATED PARTIES Robert D. Haas, a director and Chairman Emeritus of the Company, is the President of the Levi Strauss Foundation, which is not a consolidated entity of the Company. During the three- and nine-month periods ended August 25, 2013, the Company donated $0.4 million and $3.9 million, respectively, to the Levi Strauss Foundation as compared to $0.5 million and $2.4 million, respectively, for the same prior-year periods.
