Activities in the Accrued Warranty Accounts

The Company accrues for estimated warranty costs at the time the related revenue is recognized based on historical experience and projected claims. The Company's SDB contracts generally provide a one-year base warranty on the systems. The portion of the warranty provision expected to be incurred within 12 months is classified as current within accrued warranty and totals $1.1 million, while the remaining $0.6 million is classified as long-term within other liabilities.
