Business and Basis of Presentation	1. Business and Basis of Presentation GSE Systems, Inc. ("GSE Systems", “GSE” or the "Company") provides training simulators and educational solutions to the energy, process, manufacturing, and government sectors. The Company’s operations are subject to certain risks and uncertainties including, among others, rapid technological changes, success of the Company’s product development, marketing and distribution strategies, the need to manage growth, the need to retain key personnel and protect intellectual property, and the availability of additional financing on terms acceptable to the Company.
