Beth M. Pritchard has resigned as a Director of Borders Group, Inc., effective February 11, 2007, due to the demands of her position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dean & Deluca, a multi-channel retailer of gourmet and specialty foods, premium wines and high-end kitchenware with operations in the United States and abroad. Ms. Pritchard has been with Dean & Deluca since June 2006 and has been a member of the Borders Group, Inc. board of directors since March 2000.
