Investments in affiliates primarily includes the company’s 50 percent ownership interest in an entity in Guatemala, a 50 percent ownership interest in an entity in Panama, a 50 percent ownership interest in an entity in Vietnam and an ownership interest of 50 percent in an entity in the U.S. In 2022, Ball sold its remaining equity method investment in Ball Metalpack and in 2021, Ball sold its minority-owned investment in South Korea. See Note 4 for further details of both transactions.
