Ref. Transportadora de Gas del Sur S.A. (“TGS”)

Dear Sirs,

The purpose hereof is to inform you -pursuant to the requirements of the regulations under the United States Securities and Exchange Act- that in its meeting held today, TGS’ Board of Directors approved the transaction for the sale of natural gasoline for export between TGS and Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. for the period December 2012 / November 2013 (the “Transaction”), which was entered into following an invitation to bid.

It should be pointed out that prior to approval of said Transaction and as we informed in our letter dated December 6, 2012, the Chairman of TGS’ Board of Directors requested the Auditing Committee to issue a report on said Transaction, in compliance with section 73 of Law 17,811 of the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission. Said Auditing Committee concluded that the terms and conditions of the Transaction can be reasonably considered under ordinary and regular market conditions.
