TREASURY STOCK	10. TREASURY STOCK During the first fiscal quarter of 2013, the Company repurchased 38,000 shares of its Series B Convertible Preferred Stock and 1,255 shares of its common stock from its holders in a private transaction for approximately $2.5 million. In a separate and unrelated private transaction, the Company also repurchased 12,954 shares of its common stock during the first quarter of 2013 from an independent third party for cash and other consideration totaling approximately $0.8 million. The Company held 31,209 shares of common stock and 38,000 shares of preferred stock in treasury at March 2013, and 17,000 shares of common stock in treasury at September 2012. All repurchased shares are recorded in treasury stock at cost.
