Discontinued operations - CW-Belize	9. Discontinued operations - CW-Belize On February 14, 2019, the Company completed the sale of its former subsidiary, Consolidated Water (Belize) Limited ("CW-Belize") to Belize Water Services Ltd. (“BWSL”) effective January 1, 2019. After adjustments, the final price for CW-Belize was approximately $7.0 million. Pursuant to the sale and purchase agreement, BWSL initially paid the Company $6.735 million of the purchase price and approximately $265,000 was withheld to cover indemnification obligations of the Company under the agreement. The remaining $265,000 of the purchase price was paid by BWSL in August 2019. As a result of the sale of CW-Belize, the Company realized a gain of $3,621,170, which is reported as gain on sale of discontinued operations in the accompanying consolidated statement of operations for the six months ended June 30, 2019.

The entire disclosure related to a disposal group. Includes, but is not limited to, a discontinued operation, disposal classified as held-for-sale or disposed of by means other than sale or disposal of an individually significant component.
