(4) Asset Held for Sale

During 2016, the Company entered into listing agreements with brokers to sell two buildings and related improvements in New York City and Los Angeles. The two properties have been reclassified from land, building and building improvements, as well as furniture and fixtures to assets held for sale as these assets were approved for immediate sale in their present condition, are expected to be sold within one year and management is actively working to locate buyers for these buildings and related improvements . As of December 31, 2016, the land, buildings and related improvements had a net book value of $1.4 million.
