Note 11. Restructuring Charge

In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017, in an effort to streamline the organization, the Company took actions to restructure costs, resulting in a $0.8 million pre-tax charge, which is included in our Consolidated Statements of Income for fiscal year 2017. The restructuring charge primarily consists of severance-related expenses associated with a reduction in headcount paid in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017 through the first quarter of fiscal year 2018.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2015, recognizing the ongoing challenging conditions caused by the carrier spending slowdown, the Company took actions to restructure, resulting in a $0.6 million pre-tax charge, which is included in our Consolidated Statements of Income for fiscal year 2015. The restructuring charge primarily consists of severance-related expenses associated with a reduction in headcount paid in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2015 through the first quarter fiscal year 2016.
