Note 2. Recently Issued Accounting Pronouncements

In September 2011, the FASB issued an accounting standard which simplifies how entities test goodwill for impairment. The accounting standard permits an entity to first assess qualitative factors to determine whether it is more likely than not that the fair value of a reporting unit is less than its carrying amount as a basis for determining whether it is necessary to perform the two-step goodwill impairment test. The accounting standard is effective for the Company beginning April 2, 2012, with early adoption permitted. The adoption of this guidance did not have a material impact on its consolidated financial position, results of operations or cash flows.

In June 2011, the FASB issued accounting guidance related to the presentation of comprehensive income which requires an entity to present the total of comprehensive income, the components of net income, and the components of other comprehensive income either in a single continuous statement of comprehensive income or in two separate but consecutive statements and eliminates the option to present the components of other comprehensive income as part of the statement of equity. This guidance is effective for fiscal years, and interim periods within those fiscal years, beginning on or after December 15, 2011, with early adoption permitted. While the adoption of this guidance impacted the Company's disclosures, it did not have an impact on the Company's results of operations or financial condition.
