Item 8.01 – Other Events

On May 12, 2005, Canterbury Park Holding Corporation issued a press release commenting on the Minnesota House Omnibus Tax Bill which proposes the imposition of a 15% tax on Card Club revenues. In 2004, the levy would have amounted to a $4,265,000 gaming tax on reported Card Club revenues of $28,432,000.
