SALE OF OIL AND GAS ACREAGE	NOTE 8 – SALE OF OIL AND GAS ACREAGE On March 31, 2011, the Company sold 2,950 net acres to Republic Energy Ventures, LLC (“Republic”) at $4,750 per net acre for total pretax proceeds of $13,767,281. Acreage sold to Republic was distributed pro rata across the Company’s acreage. Proceeds from this transaction were used to repay $5 million to CIT in April 2011, with the remainder being used to partially fund the drilling and completion expenses for certain wells.
