Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 7.01, “Regulation FD Disclosure.”

On November 22, 2021, SJI’s (NYSE: SJI) board of directors declared a common stock dividend of $0.3100 per share for the fourth quarter of 2021. This is an increase from the previous quarter's dividend of $0.3025. The dividend is payable December 29, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business December 10, 2021 with an ex-dividend date of December 9, 2021. A copy of the press release dated November 22, 2021 announcing the declaration of the dividend is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and hereby incorporated by reference.
