The income statement line “Other operating expenses”
totaled US$2,205 for the year ended December 31, 2010,
(US$1,522 in 2009 and US$1,254 in 2008). It includes
pre – operational expenses of US$360 (US$0 in 2009 and
US$0 in 2008), loss of material of US$108 (US$9 in 2009 and
US$199 in 2008) and idle capacity and stoppage operations
expenses of US$757 (US$880 in 2009 and US$0 in 2008). In 2008,
we also had US$204 of expenses relating to tax assessments on
transportation services and US$65 of expenses relating to
write-off of intangible asset (patent rights).
