Investments	NOTE 6—Investments: The carrying value of our unconsolidated investment in Stannica LLC, a variable interest entity for which we are not the primary beneficiary, was $6.4 million and $6.6 million at March 31, 2013 and December 31, 2012, respectively. Our maximum exposure to loss in connection with our continuing involvement with Stannica LLC is limited to our investment carrying value.

Equity method investments are investments that give the investor the ability to exercise significant influence over the operating and financial policies of an investee.
