Item 2.02.    Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On October 24, 2019, Albemarle Corporation (“Albemarle”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing preliminary financial result for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019 and providing revised earnings guidance for the full year. A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
