Impairment of long-lived assets
Impairment of long-lived assets and assets held for sale. The Company evaluates long-lived assets (including intangible assets) for impairment whenever events or changes in circumstances indicate that the carrying amount of a long-lived asset may not be recoverable. An asset is considered impaired if its carrying amount exceeds the undiscounted future net cash flow the asset is expected to generate. There was no impairment of long-lived assets as of July 31, 2016 and January 31, 2016.

Goodwill. Goodwill represents the excess of purchase price over the fair value of the net assets acquired in conjunction with the Company’s acquisition of BPPC.
