INCOME TAXES	H. INCOME TAXES Effective tax rates differ from statutory federal income tax rates, primarily due to provisions for state and local income taxes and permanent tax differences. Our effective tax rate was 33.2% in the first quarter of 2017 compared to 34.7% for same period of 2016, primarily due to recording a tax deduction for certain share-based compensation and fees at fair market value.
