Prices $600 Million of Senior Notes $450 Million of 2.300 % Notes Due 2028 and $150 Million of 2.700 % Notes Due 2031 Southfield, MI, Sept. 28, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sun Communities, Inc. (NYSE:SUI) (the “Company”), a real estate investment trust (“REIT”) that owns and operates or has an interest in manufactured housing (“MH”) communities, recreational vehicle (“RV”) resorts and marinas, today announced that its operating partnership, Sun Communities Operating Limited Partnership (the “Operating Partnership”), has priced a public offering of $450 million of 2.300% senior notes due 2028 (the “2028 Notes”) and $150 million of 2.700% senior notes due 2031 (the “2031 Notes” and, together with the 2028 Notes, the “Notes”). The public offering price for the 2028 Notes was 99.830% of the principal amount for an effective yield to maturity of 2.326%, and the public offering price for the 2031 Notes was 100.342% of the principal amount plus accrued interest from June 28, 2021, for an effective yield to maturity of 2.659%. The 2031 Notes are additional notes of the same series as the $600.0 million aggregate principal amount of 2.700% Senior Notes due 2031 that the Operating Partnership issued on June 28, 2021. The 2031 Notes offered in the offering and such previously issued 2.700% Senior Notes due 2031 are identical (other than with respect to issue date and price) and will constitute a single series. The Notes will be senior unsecured obligations of the Operating Partnership, guaranteed fully and unconditionally by the Company. The offering is expected to close on or about October 5, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions. The Operating Partnership intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay borrowings outstanding under its senior credit facility, to fund possible future acquisitions of properties, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
