          On March 13, 2008, The Talbots, Inc. (“Talbots”) was advised by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (“Lender”) that the lender had approved an increase in the Company’s available borrowing limit under its exisiting Uncommitted Line of Credit Facility from $25,000,000 to $50,000,000.
