DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS W e are a specialty retailer of leather and leathercraft related items, offering a broad range of leather, quality tools, hardware, accessories, liquids, lace, kits and teaching materials. We sell our products through company-owned stores and through orders generated from our website, www.tandyleather.com. We also manufacture the leather lace and some of our do-it-yourself kits that are sold in our stores and website. We operate in two segments, based on management responsibility and store location: North America and International. Prior to January 1, 2017, we operated in three segments: Wholesale, Retail and International. To better reflect how management analyzes the business and allocates resources, we combined Wholesale and Retail into North America effective January 1, 2017, while International remains the same.
