Depreciation expense was approximately $389,000 and $335,000 for the three-month periods ended June 30, 2017 and 2016, respectively, and approximately $725,000 and $671,000 for the six-month periods ended June 30, 2017 and 2016, respectively.

The VGMs in the Monticello Casino and Raceway are owned by the NYSGC and, accordingly, the Company's consolidated financial statements include neither the cost nor the depreciation of those devices.
