Other Income and Other Operating Expenses

OTHER INCOME AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES

Other income for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2024 was $8.3 million and $21.9 million, respectively. Other income for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2023 was $7.4 million and $28.5 million, respectively. Included in other income during the nine month period ended September 30, 2023 was a $4.0 million legal reserve recapture associated with previously disclosed legal matters, coupled with fair value adjustments associated with certain equity investments and death benefits from bank owned life insurance.
