Other Income and Other Operating Expenses OTHER INCOME AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES
 
Other income for the three and six months ended June 30, 2024 was $6.4 million and $13.6 million, respectively. Other income for the three and six months ended June 30, 2023 was $9.8 million and $21.1 million, respectively. Included in other income during the six month period ended June 30, 2023 was a $4.0 million legal reserve recapture associated with previously disclosed legal matters, coupled with fair value adjustments associated with certain equity investments and death benefits from bank owned life insurance.
