     KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the undersigned officers and directors of Human Genome Sciences, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Corporation”), hereby constitute and appoint H. Thomas Watkins, James H. Davis, Ph.D., and Timothy C.
