Item 8.01 Other Events.

On November 15, 2005, Bell Microproducts Inc. (the "Company") participated in the Raymond James IT Supply Chain Conference, during which time the Company’s CEO Don Bell and CFO Jim Illson provided conference participants with an overview of the Company and updated information relating to its European operations and restructuring activities, including a discussion of the letter of intent executed in connection with a transaction in which the Company would acquire certain assets of the MCE Group, a German company.
