(a) The amount relates to foreign government grant programs related to certain capital development projects in Italy and Spain. In addition, the Company received an approximately $17 million capital grant from the Italian government for asset damages related to the earthquake that occurred in May 2012. The grants were recorded as deferred income which will be amortized over the life of the capital development projects.
