Stock-based Compensation	14. Stock-based Compensation Our Share Option Plan (the “Plan”) provides for grants of incentive and non-qualified stock options, restricted stock, restricted Operating Partnership units and out-performance plan rewards to certain of our employees and officers. We account for all stock-based compensation in accordance ASC 718, Compensation – Stock Compensation. Stock-based compensation expense for the three months ended September 30, 2011 and 2010 consists of stock option awards, restricted stock awards, Operating Partnership unit awards and out-performance plan awards. Stock-based compensation expense was $7,320,000 and $11,210,000 in the three months ended September 30, 2011 and 2010, respectively, and $21,384,000 and $26,167,000 in the nine months ended September 30, 2011 and 2010, respectively.

The entire disclosure for compensation-related costs for equity-based compensation, which may include disclosure of policies, compensation plan details, allocation of equity compensation, incentive distributions, equity-based arrangements to obtain goods and services, deferred compensation arrangements, employee stock ownership plan details and employee stock purchase plan details.
