On May 15, 2006, Ener1, Inc. ("Ener1") gave an investor presentation at the Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. Next-Generation Energy Conference at the Essex House in New York City. The presentation, which discusses the company's present business plans and strategy, is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. This Current Report and Exhibit 99.1 hereto are being furnished pursuant to Regulation FD.
