Inventories valued using the LIFO method totaled $12.4 million at December 28, 2024 and $20.2 million at December 30, 2023.  At December 28, 2024 and December 30, 2023, the approximate FIFO cost of such inventories was $128.0 million and $122.9 million, respectively.  

At the end of 2024 and 2023, the FIFO value of inventories consigned to others was $17.1 million and $19.8 million, respectively.
