Item 8.01

Other Events.

On August 15, 2019, Patterson Companies, Inc. (“Patterson”) announced that it has settled litigation with SourceOne Dental, Inc. Patterson will take a one-time $0.14 charge to earnings per share related to this matter in the first quarter of fiscal 2020. Patterson does not admit to any liability by the company, its directors or officers related to the litigation and chose to settle solely to avoid further distraction and cost resulting from this matter.
