Earnings Per Share, Basic and Diluted [Abstract]
REVLON, INC. BASIC AND DILUTED EARNINGS (LOSS) PER COMMON SHARE REVLON, INC. BASIC AND DILUTED EARNINGS (LOSS) PER COMMON SHARE
Shares used in calculating Revlon's basic loss per share are computed using the weighted-average number of Revlon's shares of Class A Common Stock outstanding during each period. Shares used in diluted loss per share include the dilutive effect of unvested restricted stock, LTIP RSUs and TIP RSUs under the Company’s Stock Plan using the treasury stock method. For the years ended December 31, 2021 and 2020, Revlon's diluted loss per share equals basic loss per share, as the assumed vesting of restricted stock, LTIP RSUs and TIP RSUs would have an anti-dilutive effect. As of December 31, 2021 and 2020, there were no outstanding stock options under the Company's Stock Plan. See Note 12, "Stock Compensation Plan," for information on the LTIP and TIP RSUs.
