RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS

NOTE 16 – RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS

During 2016, 2015 and 2014, the Company paid approximately $448, $441, and $543 for printing, supplies, statement rendering, furniture, and equipment to a company affiliated by common ownership.  The Company also paid another affiliate approximately $1,969 in 2014 to permit the Company's employees to participate in that entity's employee medical benefit plan.  Participation in the medical benefit plan was terminated in 2014 and the Company now purchases employee medical insurance through a third-party vendor.

During 2016, 2015 and 2014, the Company paid approximately $52, $52, and $52 to lease its headquarters facility at 2883 Fifth Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia from River City Properties, LLC, an entity 20.0% owned by the Company's Chairman of the Board and 20.0% owned by another member of the Board of Directors.
