In connection with filing its recent Current Report on Form 8-K/A (Amendment No. 1) dated as of May 14, 2021, which was filed on July 30, 2021, and related financial statements, regarding an acquisition of oil and gas properties on May 14, 2021, the Registrant identified several accounting matters in connection with such acquisition that affect its financial statements for the period ended June 30, 2021, which have impaired its ability to prepare and timely file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2021.
