INVESTORS’ CONFERENCE CALL JULY 31, 2007

Vancouver, BC -- Teck Cominco Limited will release its second quarter 2007 earnings results on Monday, July 30, 2007 after markets close.

The company will hold an investor conference call to discuss the second quarter 2007 earnings results at 11:00 AM Eastern time, 8:00 AM Pacific time, on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Media are invited to attend on a listen-only basis.
