Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 26, 2017, General Cable Corporation (the “Company”) announced that Robert D. Kenny, Executive Vice President, Chief Executive Officer, Europe and Africa, will be leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. The Company is conducting a search for an executive to lead the Company’s Europe and Africa business. Pending the hire of such new executive, Michael T. McDonnell, President and Chief Executive Officer, has assumed direct responsibility for the Europe and Africa business.
