Subsequent Events [Text Block]	12. Subsequent Events On October 31, 2016, Roper acquired 100% of the shares of iSqFt Parent Corp. (d/b/a ConstructConnect) for $631 million in cash. ConstructConnect is a provider of cloud-based data, collaboration, and workflow automation solutions to the commercial construction industry and will be reported in the RF Technology segment. Roper acquired ConstructConnect in order to expand its portfolio of software platforms. Goodwill and other purchase price allocations are pending.
