Accounting Guidance Update

Supplier Finance Programs

In the first quarter of 2023, we adopted accounting guidance to enhance the transparency of supplier finance programs to allow financial statement users to understand the programs' nature, activity during the period, changes from period to period and potential magnitude. This guidance is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2022, including interim periods within those fiscal years, except for the provision on roll-forward information, which is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2023.
