Property, Plant and Equipment	5. Property, Plant and Equipment Depreciation and amortization of property, plant and equipment was $333,000 and $296,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2018 and 2017, respectively. Inventory items included in property, plant and equipment are depreciated using the straight line method over estimated useful lives of 3 to 5 years. Depreciation of generators which are consigned to customers is expensed over a 5 year period, and depreciation is charged to selling expenses.

The entire disclosure for long-lived, physical assets used in the normal conduct of business and not intended for resale. Includes, but is not limited to, accounting policies and methodology, roll forwards, depreciation, depletion and amortization expense, including composite depreciation, accumulated depreciation, depletion and amortization expense, useful lives and method used, income statement disclosures, assets held for sale and public utility disclosures.
