Our inventory is comprised of the following:

“Commodity costs” on our consolidated statements of income include charges totaling $5.8 million and $11.4 million for the years ended 2015 and 2014, respectively, that we recorded to reduce the cost basis of our inventory of natural gas and natural gas liquids, or NGLs, to reflect the current market value. For the year ended December 31, 2016, we did not have any similar material charges related to our inventory of natural gas and NGLs.
