Item 8.01.   Other Events.

On August 30, 2010, The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. issued a press release announcing the January 2011 closing of its store in Centerville, Ohio and discussing the accretive net impact on earnings for the fiscal year ending January 29, 2011. The full text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
