Spartan Stores Announces Webcast of its Fiscal 2004 Annual
Shareholder Meeting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 2004--Spartan Stores, Inc., (Nasdaq:SPTN) announced today that it will webcast its fiscal 2004 annual shareholder meeting.
