Note 2 - Basis of Presentation

Bancorp follows accounting standards set by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, commonly referred to as the “FASB”.  The FASB sets generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (“GAAP”) that Bancorp follows. References to GAAP issued by the FASB in these footnotes are to the FASB Accounting Standards Codification, sometimes referred to as the Codification or ASC.

The accompanying unaudited consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with GAAP for interim financial information and in accordance with the instructions to Form 10-Q.  Accordingly, they do not include all of the disclosures required by GAAP for complete consolidated financial statements. In the opinion of management, all adjustments necessary for a fair presentation of the results of operations for the interim periods presented have been made. Such adjustments were of a normal recurring nature.  The results of operations for the nine months ended September 30, 2014 are not necessarily indicative of the results that may be expected for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2014 or any other interim period.  The unaudited consolidated financial statements for the nine months ended September 30, 2014 should be read in conjunction with the audited consolidated financial statements and related notes, which were included in Bancorp’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2013.  These consolidated financial statements consider events that occurred through the date the consolidated financial statements were issued.
