SAUER-DANFOSS INC. ANNOUNCES 23rd CONSECUTIVE
QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

CHICAGO, Illinois, USA, December 4, 2003 — Sauer-Danfoss Inc. (NYSE: SHS; FSE: SAR) today announced that its board of directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.07 per share for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2003.  The dividend is payable on January 15, 2004, to stockholders of record as of December 30, 2003.

This is the 23rd consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the Company since its initial public offering in May of 1998.
