Leases

Adept leases facilities in the United States, Germany, France, Singapore and China. Adept records lease expense on a straight-line basis over the related lease term. Rent expense for each of the three and nine months ended of March 29, 2014 and March 30, 2013 was $0.5 million and $1.4 million. Contractual obligations for each fiscal year as of March 29, 2014 are: 2014-$0.6 million; 2015-$1.9 million; 2016-$1.2 million; 2017-$0.4 million; 2018-$0.2 million; thereafter-$0.
